I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It’s officially the Holiday season in the US, we’re closing out the year with yet another Mercury retrograde. The end of the year is typically a reflective time, and this weekend will be no different. With Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius coupled with Moon in Scorpio and the New Moon this weekend… be grateful and proud of yourself to have made it this far in a rollercoaster of a year. Having perspective will help you reassess this year’s experiences to understand how to best move forward. Thanksgiving clapbacks will have more bite than bark this year with the Mercury rx and besieged detriment Scorpio moon. In a sea of opinions, you’ll find those around you might not have much of a filter. It will be harder to suppress emotional discomfort, especially those with opposing values or brewing conflict. Resentment, jealousy, and secrets may be revealed, but whatever drama is experienced is inevitable. Information won’t stay concealed for long while the moon is debilitated. With Venus in Capricorn, the desire to uphold family traditions and continue as in previous years will be felt. The square to Chiron in Aries shows that things aren’t the same, and grief is apparent this year. Grieving the past, relatives or friends that may be absent or have transitioned; it isn’t easy to experience loss, so make sure to have grace for yourself while being respectful of those around you. With Venus in Capricorn ruled by Saturn in Pisces experiencing squares from the Sun and Jupiter it may feel as if things will never be the same or get better. Stay optimistic knowing that you can honor those no longer with you through memory or traditions incorporating them. You may need to adapt and create new traditions, but there’s beauty in being able to make something you’d like to experience with those you love. Thursday is a very healing day that may also reveal what needs to be worked through to continue to move forward. Remember what and who you’re grateful for and incorporate that into your true north. The energy will lighten on Friday, although the weekend carries an overall serious tone that will lead into next week.

Be cautious of overspending this weekend, even on Cyber Monday. Impulse control and discernment will help you stay consistent with your goals. You’re in the full swing of the energy of a New Moon, which is felt 3 days before and after it occurs. Sunday’s New Moon forming a square to Saturn shows there needs to be discipline, planning, and structure if you want to achieve the goals you set for yourself. You can be delulu all you want, but it gets to a certain point where you must put in some work and be prepared for potential delays. This is a reality check to see how accountable you are and the commitment level you have to yourself. The Venus-Chiron square and Mercury-Jupiter opposition indicate that cash flow isn’t moving like it typically does around this time of the year. Having insecurities surrounding finances, material possessions, and a “good big or go home” mindset is apparent. Don’t operate outside your means and be mindful of what you invest in. What you spend may take longer to turn back to you.

There’s currently a Mercury-Neptune square and a Venus-Neptune sextile, which shows that Black Friday may show some deceptive deals although there’s an opportunity to get a good deal on something you have been wanting. Be an informed buyer and look into the market rates for what you’re looking to purchase to see if it’s a good deal. By Cyber Monday, the Mercury-Neptune square will have a 9° orb and continue to separate, making for clear decision-making and more transparent pricing. Deals will be better on Monday, but with a Moon-Neptune square, this is another reminder not to impulse buy, get what you need, and don’t overextend. Buyer’s remorse is apparent for the weekend but more likely on Monday. With the Venus-Uranus trine and Venus-Neptune sextile, you’ll find better deals with online shopping versus going into stores. Some companies tend to have online exclusive deals outside of Black Friday/Cyber Monday, there may be more doing it this year. Look into all your options before buying this year!

This weekend is also a great time to connect with friends and people you can have fun and be vulnerable with. Especially people that you don't see often in person and mainly connect with virtually.
